Seller Policy – Renew
By using Renew as a seller, you agree to the following terms:

1. Accuracy & Legal Ownership
Sellers are responsible for ensuring that all listed items:
• Are legally owned by the seller
• Are permitted to be sold under Qatari law
• Are accurately described
• Include photos that reflect the true and current condition of the item
Any misleading, false, or incomplete information may result in removal of the listing or suspension of the seller account.

2. Honest Pricing & Disclosure
Sellers agree to:
• List items at fair and honest prices
• Clearly disclose any defects, damage, or issues in the item description
Failure to disclose significant defects may result in refunds, penalties, or account restrictions.

3. Platform-Only Transactions
All sales must be completed through Renew’s platform.
Sellers agree not to:
• Encourage buyers to complete transactions outside Renew
• Accept direct payments outside the platform
• Share contact details for the purpose of bypassing Renew
Circumventing Renew’s commission system may result in immediate account suspension or permanent removal.

4. Communication & Delivery Arrangements
Once an item is sold:
• The buyer and seller must coordinate delivery or pickup through Renew chat.
• The parties must agree on the handover method (pickup or delivery).
• Unless otherwise agreed between the parties, the buyer is responsible for arranging pickup.
• Sellers must ensure the item is ready and available as described.
Renew does not provide transportation services and is not responsible for logistics, delivery arrangements, delays, or damages occurring during handover.

5. Item Responsibility
Sellers are responsible for delivering the item exactly as described in the listing.
If the delivered item significantly differs from its description, Renew may:
• Issue a refund to the buyer
• Impose penalties
• Restrict or suspend the seller’s account

6. Commission & Fees
Renew charges a commission on completed sales.
• The commission is deducted automatically according to Renew’s pricing structure.
• Payment is released to the seller within 3–5 working days after successful transaction completion (OTP confirmation and expiration of the 24-hour review window).
• By listing items on Renew, sellers agree to these fees.

7. 24-Hour Review Window
After the buyer confirms receipt via OTP verification:
• The buyer has 24 hours to report an issue using the “Report an Issue” feature.
• If no issue is reported within 24 hours, the transaction is considered complete.
• Funds are then released to the seller.

8. Seller Conduct
Sellers must:
• Communicate respectfully
• Respond in a timely manner
• Act honestly and professionally
• Comply with Renew policies and applicable laws
Repeated complaints or violations may result in account suspension or permanent removal.

9. Enforcement & Platform Rights
Renew reserves the right to:
• Remove listings
• Suspend or permanently disable accounts
• Withhold payments in cases of suspected fraud or policy violations
• Take necessary action in cases of breach of these terms or applicable law

10. Limitation of Liability
Renew operates as an online marketplace connecting buyers and sellers.
Renew does not own listed items and is not responsible for item condition beyond policy enforcement.
Renew shall not be liable for disputes, losses, damages, or claims arising from transactions between users.
